Description

Session 57, Eerie Illustration is a two video session that explores spooky moods and creating them. I define what makes something actually scary and build a case with references from Hollywood’s best designed horror movies. I discuss the four major tools used in live action filmmaking for creating suspense, uneasiness, and fear. I break down the differences in approaching kid based scares vs adult horror in three distinct images. I’ll cover techniques, methods, and approaches to bring more interest into imagery without spelling it all out. Here is everything you get!!-Two Structured HD Video Tutorials with commentary, annotations, and detailed process demonstration:1) Eerie Illustration (30 min.)2) Demonstrations (32 min)-Explanations and demonstrations on stylization process, color application, and step by step instruction on Visual Perceptions.3) Process Video Timelapse (3 MOVs)4) Hi Res Images (3 JPGs)5) Raw PSD Files, including all layers!!!
